Castle Rock

We just got back from a week long vacation with my family in Castle Rock, WI. It's about 30 minutes away from WI Dells. We had a blast! We went to the swimming pool or beach almost every day and we had beautiful weather. It only rained one day, and so we decided to go to Knuckleheads, which is an indoor amusement park. There were tons of rides (go karts, roller coaster, etc. for the kids) and also a lot of arcade games. The kids could probably spend all day at the pool, if we let them. :) We got home on Friday morning and that afternoon we got our little pool and slip n' slide out for them to play in. I think they want to live in their swim suits!

The Fair

We brought the kids to the fair 2 weeks ago, and it rained almost the entire time! The kids didn't seem to care - they were having a blast! We went with my friend Courtney and her son, Carter, and my mom also brought Natalie & Addison along. Jayden, Natalie & Carter went on tons of rides, but the boys weren't too interested in them. They just cared about eating all the food! They had donuts, popcorn, corn dogs, cheese curds - pretty much all the fair food you can buy. :) They had a great time watching all the rides and also playing a few games. Here are some pictures of the kids.

Babysitting & Photography

Auntie Kristen babysat the kids last week and the boys were so excited for her to take pictures of them! They were just playing around and showing her all the fun stuff they had (sticks, rocks, etc.). Here are some pictures that Aunt Kristen took while the boys were playing. Jayden was so tired from playing at Grandpa & Grandma's house all day, that she fell asleep on the way home at 4:30pm and didn't wake up until 6:00am the next morning! So, she didn't even know that Auntie Kristen was even there! :)

The "Olson" haircut

Last weekend we decided to shave the boys heads for the summertime, since it's so hot. While in the middle of shaving their heads, Daddy decides to leave the bottom half of their hair alone, giving them the "Olson" haircut (as we like to call it). :) Here are some head shots - enjoy!

P.S. Don't worry, we ended up shaving the rest of their heads after we took the pictures. :)

Jayden lost her 1st tooth

Last weekend, Jayden lost her 1st tooth! It was really loose and the other tooth was already coming in behind it. She even let Daddy pull it out! And there were NO tears. What a tough little girl we have! Here is a picture of our toothless little girl. :)

Camping in Osseo

A few weeks ago, we went camping at Stoney Creek campground in Osseo, WI with my family. It's our annual Holbach family gathering (my mom's side of the family). Most of my aunts/uncles/cousins & their children come for the weekend. It was a lot of fun, the kids had tons of fun swimming at the pool, playing at the playground or just playing at the campsite. The kids all slept great while we were camping, but the fresh air and sun really tired them out! They were all 3 asleep in bed by 7:15pm on Sunday night! That is early for the summer time (they usually aren't asleep until 8:30pm or so in the summer). Here are a few pictures from our weekend.

Peyton & Landon's 3rd Birthday Party!!

Peyton & Landon turned 3 years old this past Saturday (6/11). I can't believe that they are 3 already! It feels like just yesterday I was waddling around with my HUGE belly wishing for them to come. I actually worked all the way up to the day I went into labor with them.....and I made it 35 1/2 weeks along (which is almost full-term with twins). I think the boys knew mommy was ready for them to come, because just hours before my water broke, I decided I couldn't do it anymore (work), and I was going to tell my boss that my last day of work would be that Friday (6/13). My body was telling me something, huh? The boys were born at 5:11am that next morning by c-section. They were perfectly healthy little boys, Peyton - 5lb. 15oz and Landon - 5lb. 10oz. To this day, Peyton has always been bigger than Landon and now weighs 3 lbs. more than Landon! I thought I would share a picture of my HUGE belly and a picture of the boys when they were born, as well as some from their 3rd birthday party. Enjoy!

This was taken in the hospital by Kristen (Peyton - left, Landon - right). The nurses actually came up with nicknames for them, in order to tell them apart. It was "Peyton Pucker Up" (since he had big lips) and "Landon Little Lips". We had to tell them apart by their lips! :)
