Castle Rock Lake

Two weeks ago, we went down to Castle Rock Lake with my family and stayed at a resort for the entire week. It was beautiful weather (high 70s/low 80s) and not humid, which made it perfect to spend time at the pool or the playground with the kids. The kids had tons of fun! One day we went to Wisconsin Dells and went to a Wildlife Park, where the kids got to feed the animals and see deer, ducks, giraffes, monkeys and much more! Another day we took a trip to the Circus World Museum in Baraboo. First we went to a Kids Interactive Circus, where they ask kids from the audience to volunteer to join in and dress up as the animals and the kids do the tricks that the animals usually do. And to our surprise, Jayden volunteered and actually went up there! She was picked to be an elephant and was the first elephant to walk the tight rope (they laid a rope on the ground and Jayden walked across it). She loved it! She was smiling and waving at us the entire time. We all couldn't believe she was brave enough to do that, since she is usually so shy - I think she is growing up!!
The resort was on a golf course, so every night Corey and Jesse went ball hunting and usually came back with at least 30-40 golf balls! I think they ended the trip at about 150-180 golf balls each and Jesse even found a sand wedge! Crazy, huh? Overall, the trip was tons of fun and it was nice break from work for me. Here are some pictures from the trip.

Bloomer Fair

Last weekend we went to the Bloomer Fair with our friends, Aaron, Courtney and Carter Berg. Carter is only 6 months older than the boys, but is about the same size of Jayden! So, he likes to hang out with Jayden more than the boys! They both went on lots of rides together - and we actually got the boys to go on their first fair ride too! They wanted to go on the train ride and lasted a few minutes before they started crying and wanted to get off. At least they finally had the courage to go on one in the first place! :)

Here are some pictures of the boys' new toy cars they got from Grandma LoLo!! They love them!
