Sledding Fun!

This past weekend we went up to my parents cabin to take the kids sledding behind Papa's 4-wheeler. They all had so much fun! They got to ride the 4 wheeler with Papa first and then got pulled in a sled behind the 4 wheeler. When it was time to go home, they kept saying "Just one more time, please!" They also had fun playing games inside the cabin and drinking hot chocolate. Jayden mentioned that she wants to go hunting with Papa and learn how to shoot a "real" bow and arrow (just like the movie "Brave"). :) I think that made Papa really happy.

Christmas 2012

We had a great Christmas this year. :) The kids were really excited for Santa to come and had fun counting down the days until Christmas every morning. We brought them to visit Santa at the mall and even Landon (the shy one) sat on his lap and told him what he wanted for Christmas. Jayden wanted a microphone stand, Landon wanted books and Peyton wanted puzzles. And believe it or not - they all got those things from Santa (besides many other toys). :) Of course, the kids were spoiled by their grandparents, aunts and uncles too. Jayden got Legos, an ipod speaker, make-up, Big Time Rush Dance Party Wii game and many more. The boys got remote-control trucks, transformers, castle play set, Angry Birds game, walkie-talkies and more! We celebrated Christmas Eve with the Olson family at Papa & Grandma Karen's house and Christmas Day at our house with the Smith family. We also had extended family Christmases the following weekend. Corey and I were off work the entire week of Christmas, so we were able to take the kids to the Children's museum, McDonald's playland and also the E.C. indoor sports center on New Years Eve for a family fun night (bouncey houses, face painting, games, etc.). By the end of our break, I think the kids were ready to get back to school - they were starting to fight with each other constantly and mom/dad were DEFINITELY ready to get back to work too!! :)
