Jayden's 5th Birthday
We celebrated Jayden's 5th birthday on Saturday and she had a blast! We had lots of friends and family over to celebrate with us. She got tons of presents, including a baseball bat & tee, guitar, clothes, art stuff, earrings and a John Deere Gator!! She absolutely loves driving that around the yard and all her friends loved playing with it too. The boys would rather just sit in it and not have it moving, but I think eventually they will love it too! We had Spongebob cake and ice cream and when she was blowing out the candles, she had to stand up on the chair just to get them all blown out! :)

Jayden got her ears pierced!!
About a week before her birthday party, Jayden told me that she wanted earrings for her birthday. She said she wanted her ears pierced like Chloe (our neighbor). Then she asked me if it would hurt and I said just a little pinch. So, last Friday, we went to the mall to get her ears pierced and brought Chloe along too. She did great! She didn't shed even one tear! I was so proud of her! She was so happy, that was all she could talk about for a few days. Here are pictures we took right after she got them done.

Jayden's 1st day of school
Jayden started 4 year old kindergarten last week and she absolutely loves it! She gets to ride the school bus too! She was so excited to ride the school bus and wasn't scared at all. She is so proud to be going to school like a big girl. My baby girl is growing up too fast! Here are a few pictures of her first day of school and the school bus.

Castle Rock Lake
Two weeks ago, we went down to Castle Rock Lake with my family and stayed at a resort for the entire week. It was beautiful weather (high 70s/low 80s) and not humid, which made it perfect to spend time at the pool or the playground with the kids. The kids had tons of fun! One day we went to Wisconsin Dells and went to a Wildlife Park, where the kids got to feed the animals and see deer, ducks, giraffes, monkeys and much more! Another day we took a trip to the Circus World Museum in Baraboo. First we went to a Kids Interactive Circus, where they ask kids from the audience to volunteer to join in and dress up as the animals and the kids do the tricks that the animals usually do. And to our surprise, Jayden volunteered and actually went up there! She was picked to be an elephant and was the first elephant to walk the tight rope (they laid a rope on the ground and Jayden walked across it). She loved it! She was smiling and waving at us the entire time. We all couldn't believe she was brave enough to do that, since she is usually so shy - I think she is growing up!!
The resort was on a golf course, so every night Corey and Jesse went ball hunting and usually came back with at least 30-40 golf balls! I think they ended the trip at about 150-180 golf balls each and Jesse even found a sand wedge! Crazy, huh? Overall, the trip was tons of fun and it was nice break from work for me. Here are some pictures from the trip.

Bloomer Fair
Last weekend we went to the Bloomer Fair with our friends, Aaron, Courtney and Carter Berg. Carter is only 6 months older than the boys, but is about the same size of Jayden! So, he likes to hang out with Jayden more than the boys! They both went on lots of rides together - and we actually got the boys to go on their first fair ride too! They wanted to go on the train ride and lasted a few minutes before they started crying and wanted to get off. At least they finally had the courage to go on one in the first place! :)

Here are some pictures of the boys' new toy cars they got from Grandma LoLo!! They love them!

Playdate with the triplets
We had another playdate with the Hartman triplet girls (Aliya, Briella, & Ciara) last weekend and the boys had a great time! At first they just sat on my lap, until they got comfortable and started playing with the toys and with the girls. They all did very well and there were NO fights! Which was amazing, since my boys fight with each other ALL the time! Before we left, the all gave each other hugs!! It was so cute! Here are some pictures that we took that day (the only way we got all 5 to sit on the couch together, was by giving them fruit snacks!)

Northern WI State Fair
We brought the kids to the Northern Wisconsin State Fair on Friday and they had so much fun! Jayden and Natalie went on tons of rides and even tried getting on some that they weren't tall enough for! Maybe next year! The boys enjoyed just watching Jayden go on the rides and also had fun petting/feeding the animals. Maybe next year they will be brave enough to go on some rides. :) Our neighbors also brought their kids (Chloe & Ian) along and they went on the rides with Jayden & Natalie. It was really nice of them to go on the little kiddie rides with JJ & Nats, since they are 6 & 9 years old and could have went on the bigger kid rides instead. :) My parents brought the boys back to their house to nap around 2pm, so we stayed with Jayden and Natalie, and didn't leave until after 4pm (and we got there at 11am)!! The girls were so tired! Here are some pictures from the fair.
