Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a great Thanksgiving with both our families. On Thursday, we drove over to Wausau and spent the day with both sides of my family. It was great to see my Grandpa and Grandma Olson and a lot of my uncles, aunts and cousins that I don't see very often. The kids had a great time and were so good all day! Within 10 minutes of the drive back to Chippewa, all 3 kids were sound asleep. Then on Friday, we went out to dinner with Corey's parents and brother Jared to celebrate with them. I have been off of work since Wednesday and have had such a relaxing, fun time with the kids. It definitely has gone way too fast! :)

Here are some pictures of the boys at Thanksgiving with some of my family.

Happy Halloween!!

Hope everyone had a great Halloween! We actually celebrated 2 days this year. On Friday Corey dressed the kids in their costumes and brought them into my work, and then we went trick-or-treating downtown Chippewa Falls and got TONS of candy! Then we went to my parents house and Corey's aunt Joanne's house to see both our families. Then on Saturday, Liz, Jesse, and Natalie came over to our house and we brought the girls out trick-or-treating in our neighborhood. We don't have a lot of little kids around our neighborhood, so we actually only got ONE trick-or-treater at our house! :( Guess I won't be buying as much candy next year!

Corey the artist

This is the 3rd year that Corey has shown his artistic ability through carving pumpkins. The first year - he carved "Go Bucs" with the Buccaneers logo (which has a lot of details). The second year - he carved Sandy, which is Spongebob's friend. Now this year he carved Spongebob - which is Jayden's favorite cartoon. And we finally remembered to take a picture this year too! Here you go!

Go Packers!

It's been a long time since I have posted anything, but this month has just been flying by! I can't believe it's going to be November already! My birthday is only a week away - the big 28! Last Sunday, we actually had a very nice relaxing day with the kids - no errands to run, no parties to attend, just some nice family time. And we had a great time watching football, napping and playing with the kids. Here are some new pictures we took of the kids last weekend. Enjoy!

Como Zoo

We took the kids to Como Zoo this weekend and met up with our friends - Ruth & Jesse. It ended up being a beautiful day and we had a great time! Jayden loved the animals, probably the monkeys the best. She also got to ride a few rides too. The boys did pretty well, even though they didn't get a nap all day (since they didn't sleep on the drive over, like we thought they would!) Peyton is definately our social butterfly! He would just go up to people and hang on to their legs and one older man actually picked him up and he just giggled! Nothing like our little Landon - he is more timid. But he sure liked walking all over the place and running from Mommy! I think everyone had so much fun and were pretty tired out, because within 15 minutes of the car ride home all 3 kids and even Daddy were sleeping!!

Jayden's 4th birthday!

Jayden had her 4th birthday on Monday, September 14th. I can't believe it's been 4 years already - she grew up way too fast! We had 2 birthday parties for her this past weekend, starting with a friends party on Saturday and then a family party on Sunday. Then we don't have 50 people at our house at one time and it's a lot less chaotic. Here are some pictures from both parties. She had an awesome time and got tons of presents. I think her favorite presents were the dinosaur sticker book, dinosaur magnet book and keyboard w/microphone. I would have to say Peyton loved the keyboard too, so we had to put it up on the dining room table, in order to keep him from sitting on top of it and banging on it! He was NOT happy about that!

Vacuum Cleaner

Okay, so I know this is a bad habit, but whenever Jayden is playing dress up, I LOVE getting the boys dressed up too! They look so cute - I can't help myself! While I was getting some pictures of them dressed up, they kept fighting over their FAVORITE toy - the vacuum cleaner! As you can see in the pictures below, Peyton won the fight and Landon was left crying. They are really starting to fight with each other a lot more lately, and I can't help but laugh (even though I shouldn't be). If Peyton has something Landon wants, he will just go right up to Peyton and push him with both hands! And Peyton will run away with the toy, like they are playing "keep away" from each other! It's so cute!

Beautiful weather

I can't believe how warm and sunny it's been lately, and it's the middle of September! We got the pool out a few weekends ago and the kids had an awesome time! Even Papa came over and hung out for awhile and the boys had a blast playing with his empty beer can (looks like they are going to take after their Mommy - drinking Mich Golden Light!) ;)
