This was Peyton and Landon's 1st Halloween! They were little pumpkins and looked so cute! Jayden was an adorable ladybug this year, and had a lot of fun trick-or-treating! She loved getting tons of candy....you wouldn't believe the sugar high she had that night! We brought the kids to Mommy's work for everyone to see, and then went trick-or-treating downtown Chippewa Falls. Jayden actually got scared of a few of the costumes, so she had to ride on Daddy's shoulders part of the time. The boys were in the stroller and pretty much slept thru their 1st Halloween! Then we went to Uncle Shawn's house to see all her cousins dressed up in their costumes and also Grandpa Scott & Grandma LoLo. And finally we ended up at my parents house, to eat dinner and celebrate my 27th birthday. We are SO lucky to have such good kids, because they were so happy (not fussy) the entire time!

Helmets

If you haven't heard already, the boys both had to get helmets. They both have very flat heads and in order to fix them, they need to wear special helmets for a few months. They will need to wear these all day everyday. We just got them yesterday and I can already tell they HATE them! This is definitely going to be an interesting experience! With tomorrow being halloween, we should have dressed them up as football players, instead of pumpkins! ;)
Best Buddies
I thought I would share some pics of the boys hanging out together. They already talk to each other when sitting next to each other. They also smile and giggle with each other.....it's so cute! I can already tell they are going to grow up to be best friends.....and if they are anything like Mommy or Daddy, they will be VERY competitive with each other! :)

Eating solids
4 months old already!
Here are some updated pics of the boys, who are 4 months old already! Peyton weighs 14 lbs. 12 oz and Landon weighs 14 lbs 9 oz. And big sister Jayden only weighs 28 lbs at 3 years old! The boys are going to catch up to her fast! The boys are smiling, giggling and talking all the time now, which is so much fun!! Jayden loves to hold her brothers, but you have to keep a close eye on her, because as soon as she is sick of holding them, she decides to push them off her lap!! Jayden is getting so grown up and is such a big helper with the boys. She reads books to her brothers all the time.......I am just waiting for the moment when she has to start sharing her books with them! That won't go over as well!

Peyton & Landon's Dedication
.jpg)
We had the boys dedicated at our church on Sunday. It was a beautiful service and I had tears in my eyes when Corey said a prayer over the boys in front of the church (I think Aunt Kristen did too!) We are very blessed to have such healthy, beautiful boys and we thank God for bringing these two miracles into our lives.

Flu Season.....
Even though it's only the beginning of October, we already got a taste of the flu season in the Smith house. Corey had the flu on Monday/Tuesday and of course I got it after work on Friday night and thru the entire weekend! It was horrible, and to top it all off, I missed one of my best friend's weddings because of it! Ruth got married on Saturday at the Minnesota Zoo and we weren't able to go, because I was feeling like crap! I feel so bad we missed it. We are just hoping that none of the kids get the bug too.....

Dance Class
Jayden started dance class a few weeks ago and she absolutely loves it! She is the runt of the class, though (no surprise!). There are 10 little girls in her class. Its unbelievable that the teacher can actually get 10 little 3-4 year olds to all do the same thing at the same time for the dance recital. But I guess that is why the recital isn't until May, nine months from now! She looks so darn cute in her little dance leotard and dance shoes. She has so much fun, she doesn't want to leave when class is over. Last night, she tried going into the older girls class too!

Ear Infections & Birthday Parties......
We found out on Friday that both boys have double ear infections! That is not a good sign, since they are only 3 months old! Jayden was 6 months old when she got her first ear infection. Hopefully, that doesn't mean they will be needing tubes later in life. They aren't very crabby for having the ear infections, though. They are tough little guys! Peyton is still sleeping 11-12 hours at night, but Landon still gets up once (which still isn't bad!)
Peyton is still the bigger brother, weighing in at 13 lbs. 7 oz. and Landon weighing in at 13 lbs. 4 oz. They are growing way too fast! Pretty soon I won't be able to carry them both in their car seats at the same time! (It's already a struggle!)
On Sunday, Jayden had another birthday party. This time it was for our friends and her friends. She had a lot of fun and she even got to help make her birthday cake! Andrea & Ava Finn, Rachel & Eric Krista, Courtney, Aaron & Carter Berg, Elisa, Cody & Carmandi Steinmetz all came to celebrate JJ's birthday.

New Bike!
As I mentioned before, Jayden got a big girl bike for her birthday. So far, she wasn't able to push hard enough on the pedals to actually ride it - we just pushed her on it instead. But last night, she finally got the hang of it and starting riding her bike!! I think it helped that our neighbor kids were out on their bikes too, showing her how to do it. She absolutely loved it! She had the biggest smile on her face and she didn't want to get off it! She looks so darn cute on it too. I can't believe how fast she is growing up.......

Jayden's 3rd Birthday
Sunday was Jayden's 3rd birthday! I can't believe how time flies! We had a party with our families and will be having another party next weekend with her friends. When I asked her who is coming to her birthday party, she immediately said "Rachel"! She loves my friend, Rachel Krista. She always calls Rachel her "best friend". (It's so cute!) She got a lot of presents, including puzzles, books, dress-up dolls, boots, and even a BIKE! Too bad she is a little too short to ride the bike yet, but I think Papa is going to put some blocks on the pedals so she can reach them!
