November - gone already?

I know it's been a long time since I have posted any pictures, but I feel like November went by SO fast - I can't believe it's only 21 days until Christmas! Anyhow, I thought I would post some pictures from throughout the month of November - starting with a picture of me and the kids on my 29th birthday (with a BEAUTIFUL cake made by Jayden and Daddy), pictures from Natalie's 1st sleepover at our house, Thanksgiving, Jayden's Christmas program at school and baking cookies with the girls. It was a busy month and December is going to be even busier! The boys have been sick with ear infections, sinus infections, etc. for most of the last month, so one BIG event happening in December (next week) is they are both getting tubes put into their ears (for the 2nd time) and their adenoids taken out. Our niece, Natalie, also had this done when she was younger and she did really well, so we are praying that the boys' surgeries go smoothly too! Well, enjoy all the pictures! :)

Halloween 2010

We had a very busy weekend celebrating Halloween. It started on Friday afternoon when we took the kids downtown Chippewa Falls trick-or-treating. Then we went to visit Grandpa Scott and Grandma LoLo to show them the kids costumes. Lastly, we went to visit Grandma Karen (Papa was hunting at the cabin). Then on Saturday, we went over to Liz and Jesse's house for a Halloween party (kids too!) On Sunday, we headed to Urgent Care in the afternoon, because the boys' ear infections were not getting better (we had a ROUGH night on Saturday) and got on different antibiotics. Finally, Dad took Jayden out trick-or-treating around our neighborhood and she only lasted about 30-40 minutes, before she said "I have enough candy, I want to go home and see Mommy." :)

Grandpa Scott's Farm

Last weekend we brought the kids out to Grandpa's farm. He has cows, chickens, rabbits, and kitties. The kids LOVED it! They loved chasing the kitties around and feeding the chickens. They had so much fun - they didn't want to leave! If it wasn't for the rainy weather, we could have stayed there for hours. Here are some pictures of the kids with the animals. Notice the one of the baby chick inside Landon's hood. :)

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin patch last weekend with my family and the kids loved it! It was pretty cold out (only 47 degrees!), but that didn't bother them at all. They loved playing in the bounce house and climbing up the haystacks and sliding down the slides. They also had a petting zoo there, with goats, llamas, puppies, kittens and ponies. The kids had so much fun feeding the animals and also holding the puppies. I fell in love with a little "puggle" (mix between a pug and beagle) - but that will have to wait a few years - our house is already a zoo!! :) Here are some pictures from the pumpkin patch.

Jayden's 5th Birthday

We celebrated Jayden's 5th birthday on Saturday and she had a blast! We had lots of friends and family over to celebrate with us. She got tons of presents, including a baseball bat & tee, guitar, clothes, art stuff, earrings and a John Deere Gator!! She absolutely loves driving that around the yard and all her friends loved playing with it too. The boys would rather just sit in it and not have it moving, but I think eventually they will love it too! We had Spongebob cake and ice cream and when she was blowing out the candles, she had to stand up on the chair just to get them all blown out! :)

Movie Stars

So, I just had to post these pictures of the boys, since they love playing with Jayden's sunglasses all the time. Here they are posing for the camera with Jayden's sunglasses on! (By the way - we shaved their mohawks off - if you didn't notice!)

Jayden got her ears pierced!!

About a week before her birthday party, Jayden told me that she wanted earrings for her birthday. She said she wanted her ears pierced like Chloe (our neighbor). Then she asked me if it would hurt and I said just a little pinch. So, last Friday, we went to the mall to get her ears pierced and brought Chloe along too. She did great! She didn't shed even one tear! I was so proud of her! She was so happy, that was all she could talk about for a few days. Here are pictures we took right after she got them done.

Jayden's 1st day of school

Jayden started 4 year old kindergarten last week and she absolutely loves it! She gets to ride the school bus too! She was so excited to ride the school bus and wasn't scared at all. She is so proud to be going to school like a big girl. My baby girl is growing up too fast! Here are a few pictures of her first day of school and the school bus.
