Our little star!

Jayden had her 1st dance recital this past Sunday and she did such a great job! She is the youngest in her class, so I was a little nervous for her....but she was awesome! We were all so proud of her! She had a lot of fans in the crowd too (Grandpas & Grandmas, aunts and uncles and even her little cousin - Natalie!) Their costumes were so cute - they were known as the "Hungry Hippos"!

Best sister-in-law EVER!

So, many of you know that my sister-in-law, Kristen, is an amazing photographer and has been taking TONS of pictures of our kids over the past year. You can visit her blog here. Every time we get together, she is always there catching the moment with her camera. I really appreciate it, because without her, we wouldn't have such awesome pictures of the kids growing up. We feel SO lucky to have her in our family. We love you, Kristen!

Here are some recent pictures she took of the kids.

Best Friends

Jayden's best friend is Ava Finn. They absolutely LOVE playing together and are always so excited to see each other! Ava's mom is one of my best friends too, which is one of the reasons Jayden and Ava get to hang out so much! :) Here are a few pictures of them together - one in particular was taken when they were only 20 months old - their 1st time camping together!

Happy Easter!

Grandpa's 90th Birthday Party

My Grandpa had his 90th birthday this past Saturday and we had a big celebration for it! It was so nice to see all my aunts, uncles and cousins - especially those from Oregon (whom we don't get to see very often!) My Grandpa is doing pretty good for his age - he even gets out to the golf course (and can probably still beat Corey!) We had a great time, and I love seeing how happy he is when he gets to hold the kids.

This last picture is of my cousin - Scott - who absolutely loved spending time with Peyton & Landon. This is the 1st time he met them, because he lives out in Oregon.

Dress up clothes

The boys were playing in Jayden's room and got into her dress up clothes! I thought it would be cute to put some on them - I don't know how much Daddy liked it though! :)

Landon's cute faces

We can definitely see that Landon is going to be like his big sister in one way for sure - his many faces! He makes so many different faces and they are so darn cute! Jayden was the same way, she would do "scary face" and "pouty face", etc on the spot for everyone. Here are some cute new pics - one especially brings a smile to my face every time I see it!

I have to post a picture of his brother too!!

9 months old

The boys are already 9 months old! Peyton weighs 19 lb. 13 oz. and Landon weighs 17 lb. 14 oz. Peyton is crawling everywhere and pulling himself up on things and Landon is not far behind! They love getting into their big sister's toys, but she doesn't mind too much. They are starting to eat table foods too - I forgot how messy they are! I feel like we need to give them baths after every meal! Now that Daddy stays home with them during the week, hopefully they will be healthier and won't be sick ALL the time!

Bath Time!

Here are some pics of the boys enjoying bath time! Don't worry, I made sure not to have any inappropriate ones!

The Girl of Many Faces...

As many of you may know, Jayden has always had many "faces" ever since she was a little girl. She definitely is a little drama queen!!

Sledding at the cabin

We took advantage of the heat wave we had yesterday (43 degrees) and went sledding up at our cabin with my family. This was the first time the boys have been sledding and they seemed to enjoy it! Jayden even was able to be pulled behind the 4 wheeler with Auntie Kristen!

7 months old

I know its been a long time since I have posted any new pictures, but we have had a BUSY month! It started with both boys getting pneumonia, which lasted a few weeks (at least for Landon) and then Landon also got tonsillitis later that month! On top of that, Corey slipped on the ice and broke a bone in his foot and sprained his ankle very badly, making it very hard for him to help out much with the boys. Anyhow, things are starting to look better this weekend and Corey must be feeling better, because he is out ice fishing right now! Here are some more recent pictures of the boys, who are 7 1/2 months old already!
